Yesterday was the first day that it warm enough to both have on shorts! 81 and sunny! We are at a state park about 100 miles outside of Tucson on what passes for a lake in this part of Arizona. It is a little boring after our mountain hiking but the warmth is nice and it is flat enough to ride our bikes. Also, we have cell coverage which we haven't had much of lately! We do have a campsite view of a snow topped mountain in the distance.

And we have seen a lot of Gambrel's quail, a dove sized bird with a strange headdress.

There are lots of weekend campers in this part of AZ and we heard some partying as we headed to bed last night. Reminders of our youth.....

But we obeyed ALL of the rules, including no pickle jars on the island!
